Emergency boarding
If glass cannot be replaced the same night — because a unit has to be made to measure, or the frame needs attention first — we board the opening properly so the property is secure and weathertight until we return.
Misted and blown double glazing
Condensation between the panes means the seal has failed. In most cases the glass unit alone is replaced and the frame stays exactly as it is, which is considerably cheaper than a new window.
Shop fronts and commercial
Large commercial panes, toughened and laminated safety glass, and out-of-hours attendance so a retail unit can trade the next morning.
Bespoke and decorative glass
Kitchen splashbacks, glass balustrades and staircases, pool surrounds, mirrored walls — measured, made and fitted.

Do you charge a call-out fee for emergencies?

My double glazing is misted up. Do I need a whole new window?
Almost never. Misting means the sealed unit has failed, and the unit can normally be swapped while leaving your existing frame, hinges and handles in place.
Can you replace just the glass in a UPVC door?
Yes. Door panels and glazed panes can usually be replaced without changing the door itself, which also means the existing locks and keys stay as they are.
Do you fit toughened and laminated safety glass?
Yes, both. Building regulations require safety glass in certain positions — low-level glazing, doors and the panels beside them — and we glaze to that standard as a matter of course.
